Things to Know

Grow in your faith and relationship with Jesus.

Know the Gospel

  • God created you with a purpose. God wants you to know Him personally. He loves you unconditionally.

    Genesis 1:27, John 3:16

  • Everyone sinned against God and searches for purpose and fulfillment in other things. Sin separates us from God and what He has planned for you.

    Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23

  • God does not stop loving you because you sinned. He sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross to save you from your sins. Jesus paid the penalty for the sins that you deserved. Jesus died and rose three days later. Doing so made a way for you to have a personal relationship with God the Father through Jesus.

    1 Corinthians 15:3-8

  • You can follow Jesus by placing your faith and trust in Jesus. You can admit your sins to Jesus, believe in Him, and confess Him as Lord and Savior. You can do that through praying to Him. Prayer is talking to God, and He wants to hear from you. This is not a prayer that saves you, but a way you can communicate with God. You can pray a prayer like-

Dear God, thank you for loving me and for creating me with a purpose. I admit that I have sinned against you, and I ask for your forgiveness. Thank you for sending Jesus, who died for me, paid the penalty I deserved, and for rising on the third day. I want to make Jesus the Lord of my life, and I surrender to Him. In Jesus’ name, amen.

I Made A Decision

Know God More

  • Prayer is how you can communicate with God. There is no special way to pray, as He wants to hear from you.

    Matthew 6:9-13, 1 Thessalonians 5:17

  • We should be committed to the local church. God made us for community, and wants us to worship together.

    Acts 2:42-46, Ephesians 2:19-22, Hebrews 10:24-25

  • The Bible is one way God speaks to us. Reading the Bible helps us know more about God, grow closer to Him, and learn how to make Him known.

    Isaiah 40:8, John 1:1-5, 2 Timothy 3:16-17
