3:9 Community
Students Recognizing Their Need for a Relationship with God and Authentic Community.
“Where Are You?”
Genesis 3:9 says, “But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
After Adam and Eve fell to sin, God asked Adam, “Where are you?” This question is not asking where Adam is physically, but rather spiritually. Our 3:9 Community program is built on asking students where they are spiritually and allowing them to recognize their sins and need for God’s restoration. Our community program builds authentic community by holding one another accountable in our walk with Jesus.
How it Works
-
Meet in Community
The 3:9 Community meets once a month for a time of fellowship and an opportunity to talk about where we are spiritually.
-
Group Discussion
Students are encouraged to disconnect from technology and engage in conversations with others and hold others accountable.
-
Answer the Question
Students express where they are in their walk with Jesus, pray with each other, and discuss how each other can grow closer to Jesus.
Get Involved
Starting in 2026, we will host monthly community engagement gatherings for middle school students to fellowship, check in on one another, and pray together.
