“Where Are You?”

Genesis 3:9 says, “But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”

After Adam and Eve fell to sin, God asked Adam, “Where are you?” This question is not asking where Adam is physically, but rather spiritually. Our 3:9 Community program is built on asking students where they are spiritually and allowing them to recognize their sins and need for God’s restoration. Our community program builds authentic community by holding one another accountable in our walk with Jesus.

How it Works

  • Meet in Community

The 3:9 Community meets once a month for fellowship and to talk about where we are spiritually.

  • Group Discussion

Students are encouraged to disconnect from technology, engage in conversations with others, and hold others accountable.

  • Answer the Questions

Students share where they are in their walk with Jesus, pray with one another, and discuss how they can grow closer to Jesus. Each gathering is built on three questions: Where are you? Where do you want to be? How will you get there?

Three Things to Expect

  • Free Food

At each gathering, we will share a meal as a community.

  • Fun Games

There will be fun games and activities before our discussion time.

  • Fellowship with Others

We will gather for a time of spiritual growth discussions.

The Goal

You will know Jesus, who He is, and why He loves you.

You will know your community and come together to grow closer to Jesus.

You will know what it means to follow Jesus and how to make a difference in your community.

The Promise

  1. You Do Not Have to Be Perfect

  2. You Do Not Have to Have it All Together

  3. You Just Have to Be Present

Get Involved

Starting in 2026, we will host monthly community engagement gatherings for middle school students to fellowship, check in on one another, and pray together.
